This back-lit marquee box took me "WAY TOO LONG" to build. But after a bunch of sawing, gluing, painting, and an internal florescent light, it turned out quite well.

I bought most of these games off of ebay., Donkey Kong and Pacman were gifts.

Believe it or not these games are much more expensive now than they were 25 years ago.

I had to replace the artwork on Galaxian and Ms. Pacman, which was not easy. Luckily I was able to find some vector artwork online for the original full size arcade cabinets. At that point it required some careful manipulation to make the artwork match the original miniature game. A bit of gloss, adhesive paper, and an exacto knife, and the games look as good as new.

Galaxian was a different story altogether. The game was shipped without a speaker. Needless to say, I gave the ebay seller a very poor review. It took awhile but I was able to open up the circuit board and find the proper speaker circuits—it was a game of trial and error. Once I detected the 2 locations on the board, I was able to solder an alarm clock speaker into the unit. It sounds as good as new.

These two trinkets are very cool. You press the button and they light up and play the original arcade sounds.

I had to give the ghost some bigger eyes to give it a more "pacman ghost" look.

Notice the difference on the original seen below.

In case you are wondering, the eyes are the speakers. The bass is inside and below the unit.
It sounds okay, but it's not a very loud iPod speaker system.
